Mary Cline

Mary Cline is a senior PhD political scientist with more than 20 years of experience in the private, public, and academic sectors. She is a specialist in foreign affairs, political economy, political risk, and governance with extensive international experience, including residential positions in Russia, the UAE, and Germany. Her career has spanned appointments at the RAND Corporation (Graduate Fellow), the US Department of State, Eurasia Group, Longview Global Advisors, and Georgetown University (Adjunct), where she taught masters-level courses on Political Risk Assessment and Public Private Partnerships for Social Development. She is now working at EY, where Mary serves as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office in the Chairman. Mary completed her undergraduate work at Bowdoin College (1988) in Maine and her PhD at UCLA (2000) with specialties in comparative politics, Russian studies, and quantitative methods.
